It was an amazing Bhutanese experience, in particular to see the lifestyle in rural areas, and the East/West road development. It was great to see the cultural aspect, along with the pride of traditional dress and protocols.
Driver and guides accommodated requests where possible – rafting, viewing Bhutanese house.
Suggestions – minimum of 2 night stay in Punakha & Gangtey if time permits. Dress code for visit to temples/dzongs is included in itinerary details.
Disappointment: The sewerage smell from bathroom at Tashi Namgay Resort. Staff made an effort to clean and deodorize with lemongrass to disguise the smell. However, the smell was not really acceptable.
Overall experience with Bhutan-Bhutan Travel was excellent!
